I got a new job! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I did it! Or rather, a few people practically did it for me. Y'all know who you are...and thank you.
For now, life does not bite so much. New job, new tan, new beginnings.
Thanks Mark! I'm selling out to a big old British bank that begins with a B. And since it's very much a corporate setting, there will be no more Kelsey Grammar sightings, unfortunately. As for pizza, I will not forego Spunto visits. I just won't make it to happy hour.
I'm sure Kelsey Grammer has enough money that he might need banking services. And what with his high falutin' pretentiousness, a big old British bank might be right up his alley. (Doesn't your sister also work for a large British bank that begins with B? Will you be coworkers?)
Speaking of banking, I thought of you recently when my online bank notified me that it was being taken over by M&T Bank and that I would thenceforth be an M&T customer. I hated them almost from day one (I'll spare you the reasons but they were numerous. Numerous!). And while they did not make it at all easy to do I finally managed to close that account (no joke-- their instructions to me on how to do this involved visiting a notary public!). In other words, my M&T account is indeed empty.
Congrats! What's the new job? And are you still close to great pizza / Kelsey Grammer?

Yes, on my sis' employment. We will see each other way too much starting next month.
ReplyDeleteEm(p)Tee bank sucks. I can't believe they still exist and taking over other banks! Horrific.
